El merenguero fue traslado hoy de la cárcel de San Pedro de Macorís a la ciudad de Santiago, donde un tribunal colegiado de esa jurisdicción lo declaró en rebeldía, ante una querella presentada en su contra por supuesto trabajo realizado y no pagado. Los demandantes reclaman el pago de casi tres millones de pesos.La jueza Ingrid Liberato, de la segunda Cámara Penal del Distrito Judicial de Santiago, lo dejó libre tras firmar “la orden de no rebeldía”, aunque con el compromiso de que regrese el 21 de noviembre a una nueva cita judicial.Tras la decisión de Liberato, también se dispuso la puesta en libertad de la cárcel de San Pedro. El pasado viernes, la jueza del Quinto Juzgado de la Instrucción del Distrito Nacional, Gissel Soto, así lo había dictado, pero fue hoy cuando se recibió por escrito.Omega cumplió en San Pedro una condena preventiva tras una acusación de la Fiscalía sustentada en denuncias de violencia de género por parte de la bailarina July López.El director del Nuevo Modelo Penitenciario, Ismael Paniagua, explicó que la orden de libertad que se le otorgó a Omega fue remitida por la Fiscalía al recinto carcelario, pero que en la misma había una coletilla donde decía que éste tiene pendiente un caso en Santiago.Ante esa situación, el artista fue trasladado para que en Santiago se le levante la rebeldía que se le había dictado el pasado cuatro de julio.El pasado viernes, Omega fue dejado en libertad por la jueza del Quinto Juzgado de Instrucción del Distrito Nacional, Giselle Soto.La magistrada acogió el hábeas corpus que interpuso el mambero a través de sus abogados Cándido Simón Polanco, Carlos Joaquín y Evelyn Karina Pineda, y dispuso la libertad pura y simple del imputado.Con esta decisión fue variada la medida de coerción de tres meses de prisión preventiva que cumplía Omega, en el Centro de Corrección y Rehabilitación de San Pedro de Macorís, acusado de agredir a una mujer.
